August is National Breastfeeding Month! We’re bringing awareness to this month by highlighting how important it is to make breastfeeding easier.

If you notice your infant doesn’t latch on to breastfeed or they make clicking sounds when they nurse, it may be a sign that they have a tongue-tie. Dr. Davis can perform a frenectomy procedure that loosens the skin under your baby’s tongue – or the lingual frenulum – so it allows freer movement.

We’re sharing a video that describes the procedure in a bit more detail as well as more information about a tongue-tie. We use laser technology to perform the frenectomy which makes for faster healing time and much less discomfort.

Find out if a tongue-tie procedure will help make breastfeeding easier for you and your baby.
